Stevens County emergency management personnel, along with the Stevens County Sheriff’s Department, members of local fire departments, and the Stevens County Ambulance Service also participated in a scenario in which deputies became ill during the process of issuing a search warrant.

This initiated the mock HAZMAT response drill which involved a hazardous materials chemical assessment team. The team was able to practice all the steps necessary to safely locate and identify toxic chemicals. Pictured participating in the drill are two WCEC employees wearing Level A suits.
