Weather Alert: Wind Chill Advisory extended to noon Wednesday
Extremely cold wind chills has led the National Weather Service to extend a Wind Chill Advisory until noon Wednesday in most of West Central Minnesota.
Wind chills between 25 below and 35 below zero are expected this evening.
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and wind will combine to creat extremely low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia are possible and people should wear hats and gloves if they go outside.
