Danny Bayer turned in an awesome run scoring the win in the WISSOTA Modified division while Jeff Flaten reigned victorious in the WISSOTA Super Stock division. Matt Suckow took his first Viking Speedway victory of the season in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified finale while Jason Babcock snagged yet another win in the WISSOTA Street Stock A-main. The traveling stars of the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) stopped in for the second time this season during Morris Auto Plaza and H Boyd Nelson night at the Speedway.

The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds were first to take the speedway with polesitter Suckow taking the early lead. Darrin Braaten settled into the second spot during first lap action while sixth starter Dusty Bitzan quickly moved up to challenge William Lund for the fourth spot. A myriad of yellow flags halted action during the event with Suckow maintaining his lead. Back in the pack, Grey Eagle, MN driver Jeremy Kerzman looked as if he might have the car to beat entering the top five from his 21st starting position on the final trip around. Eighth starter Brian Haben moved up to second and closed up on the backside of Suckow with the white flag in the air. On the final trip around, however, it was Suckow holding the groove taking the win in the process. Haben turned in another stellar run coming home second with Bitzan third, Lund fourth, and Kerzman fifth. Matt Weisman, Kyle Reents, Brady Gerdes, Nick Bruder, and Dan Menk all turned in top 10 performances as well.

The WISSOTA Street Stock finale proved to be a great one with Jordan Tollakson taking the early lead from his outside row one starting position. Tollakson, however, was quickly challenged by David Goulet and third starter Babcock. Babcock moved out front lap six while tenth starter Shawn Wageman was on the move. The Breezy Point, MN product moved from his tenth starting spot up into second with five laps still up on the board. Sixth starter Andrew Bangsund looked strong during the duration of the A-main moving into the third behind Babcock and Wageman. During the final four laps, Babcock and Wageman waged a great battle for the lead. Babock was able to keep Wageman at bay until the final trip around. With the white flag in the air, Wageman closed up on the backside of Babcock for the lead. Wageman made a diamond maneuver in an attempt to overtake Babcock for the lead coming out of turn four. Babcock, however, made no mistakes and scored yet another Viking Speedway win in the process. Wageman moved up eight positions to finish second ahead of Bangsund, Buer, and Tollakson. Tiffany Maus-Krippner turned in a very impressive performance starting the event in 11th and finishing sixth. Justin Tammen took the win in heat race one with Andrew Bangsund reigning victorious in heat race two.

The WISSOTA Super Stock feature had a tough act to follow after last week's last lap battle between Jeff Crouse and Shawn Nolan. The competitors on hand, however, were up to the task providing a race that had the fans on their feet during more than one occassion. During the ladder stages of the event it was Jeff Flaten holding a slight advantage over Cory Tammen and Jeff Crouse. The lead duo distanced themselves from the rest of the field with each competitor having a chance at the win. Flaten continued to hold Tammen at bay until the final trip around. Flaten led Tammen and Crouse down the backstretch as they entered turn three. Tammen drove his #71 machine hard into the ditch with Flaten in the middle groove. Tammen left Flaten a lane on the high side as the two came side by side headed for the checkered flags. In a photo finish it was Flaten scoring the victory over Tammen by mere inches. Crouse, who started ninth, grabbed the third spot followed by 11th starter Mike Peterson, and eighth starter Jeremy Jerve. Derrick Lemke, Shawn Nolan, Ron Host, Jason Vejtruba, and Jon Stepan rounded out the top ten running order for the WISSOTA Super Stocks, which boasted 21 entrants.

Kyle Wieberdink blasted off from the pole taking the lead during lap one action in the WISSOTA Modified A-main. Wieberdink slammed his #02 machine around the cushion and was scored the leader at the conclusion of lap one. Wieberdink held the lead out front until lap four when he slipped over the banking in turn three. That would put Josh Thoennes out front for the Delaware double-file restart. Thoennes led the field to the green with many drivers on the move. Just seven laps into the event, 25th starter Jay McDonald had already disposed of 10 cars. Thoennes still held the advantage out front with eighth starter Danny Bayer on the move. While most cars worked middle to bottom, Bayer found the top of the speedway to his liking in turn one. The yellow flag waved once again which put ninth starter Dennis Bitzan and Bayer on Thoennes' rear bumper for what proved to be the final restart. The green dropped once again with Bayer climbing the ladder in turn one. Bayer hooked the extreme high side of the speedway blasting by Thoennes for the lead down the backstretch. Craig Christiansen and Jason Thoennes began to become a factor in the ladder stages of the event finishing third and fourth respectively. Out front it was all Bayer taking hi second Viking Speedway win of the season. Bitzan turned in a great run coming home second ahead of Bayer, 11th starter Jason Thoennes, and Dwayne Clarke. Perhaps the most impressive run of the night was turned in by Fargo, ND legend Jay McDonald. McDonald started the event in 25th and finished 7th.

The final event of the evening belonged to the NLRA Late Models with 28 drivers making the call. Jeff Wildung and Don Shaw brought the field around as the green flag waved. Shaw and Wildung remained dead even down the backstretch on the first lap with Wildung finally gaining the advantage off of turn four. As the field completed it's first lap, the first yellow of the evening waved. The yellow would bunch up the field behind Wildung once again for the restart. Wildung once again blasted off into the lead while fifth starter Zach Johnson moved into third. Johnson quickly struck up a battle with Don Shaw for the second spot while Wildung remained out front. Johnson was able to complete the pass for the second spot by lap eight quickly closing up on the backside of Wildung in the process. Wildung pedaled his #50 machine around the extreme high side of the speedway with Johnson digging down in the ditch. The duo ran side by side for a number of laps with Wildung continuing to lead. A few restarts kept the field close together during the middle stages of the event with Wildung and Johnson continuing to battle for the lead. With five laps remaining, 15th starter Mike Prochnow entered the top five. The Menomonie, WI native looked very strong taking over the fourth spot from Mike Balcaen with three laps still up on the board. Back in traffic, Jeff Hinkemeyer looked very strong moving from his 20th starting spot to finish 10th. Johnson threw everything but the kitchen sink at Wildung in the remaining laps but it was not enough to deny Wildung yet another win. Johnson looked very strong during the 25-lap affair coming home second with Shaw third, Prochnow fourth, and Balcaen fifth. Ricky Weiss, Shaun Peterson, Corey Seckerson, Jeremy Keller, and the aforementioned Hinkemeyer all turned in top 10 performances as well during night one action for the NLRA Late Models.
