THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING TO NOON CST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...WIND CHILL VALUES DROPPING BELOW 35 DEGREES BELOW ZERO AFTER 9 PM.

* MAIN IMPACT...WIND CHILL VALUES WILL AVERAGE BETWEEN 35 TO 45 DEGREES BELOW ZERO FROM 9 PM TO 12 NOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
