Winter storm warning cancelled

The National Weather Service in Chanhassen, Minn., has cancelled the winter storm warning for west central Minnesota.

However, the forecast does include an additional dusting of up to two inches of snow from this evening into Wednesday morning as the back side of the storm swings across the region, from west to east.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation reports difficult travel conditions throughout northwestern Minnesota, from Big Stone, Stevens and Pope counties north to the Canadian border. Road condition information is available from MnDOT at http://www.511mn.org.
