Threshing Bee coronation today in Donnelly

Queen, Little Miss Donnelly candidates take stage at 7 p.m. on the Threshing Bee grounds

Two young women are participating in this year’s Donnelly Threshing Bee Queen coronation, while four girls are in the running for Little Miss Donnelly. All six of them will take the stage Saturday at 7 p.m. on the grounds of the Bee.

This year’s queen candidates are Sara Stallman and Paige Strand. The runner up will be crowned princess.

Sara Stallman is the daughter of Jeff and Marilynn Stallman of Donnelly. Sara will be a sophomore at Morris Area High School. She has been active with choir, youth group, and volleyball. Her interests include snowmobiling, swimming, and “hanging with friends.”

Paige Strand of Donnelly is the daughter of Kelly Strand and the late Twylia Gehrt. She will also be a sophomore at Morris Area High School. She has been involved with speech, FFA, FCCLA, Luther League, and choir. Paige enjoys riding horse, writing, singing, playing sports, riding dirt bike, snowmobiling, cooking, sewing, babysitting, shopping, volunteering with special needs children, and being with friends.

The four Little Miss Donnelly candidates are Bailey Armstrong, Samantha Greiner, Logan Mau, and Kellie Wilts. The runner up will be crowned Little Miss Princess.

Bailey Armstrong, age 10, is the daughter of Jason and Nicole Armstrong of Donnelly. She will be in the fifth grade at West Central Area. She is very active in Girl Scouts, as well as basketball and dance. She likes reading, riding bike, playing with her baby brother, listening to music, swimming, and making arts and crafts.

Samantha Greiner, age 10, is the daughter of Greg and Dona Greiner of Donnelly. She will be in the fifth grade at Morris Area Elementary. Samantha enjoys fishing, riding tractors, snowmobiling, and golfing.

Logan Mau, age 9, is the daughter of Maynard and Lori Mau of Donnelly. She will be in the fourth grade at Morris Area. Logan enjoys playing with friends, swimming, and riding bike.

Kellie Wilts, age 8, is the daughter of Doug and Ellen Wilts of Herman. She will be in the third grade in Herman. She is active in 4-H and Girl Scouts. Her interests include basketball, softball, ice skating, four wheeling, working on the farm, and science.
