WCSA alum meet with UMM officials in Arizona

Last Monday, 79 West Central School of Agriculture graduates, spouses and friend attended the annual winter reunion at the View Point Golf club in Mesa, Ariz.

MESA, Ariz. — Last Monday, 79 West Central School of Agriculture graduates, spouses and friend attended the annual winter reunion at the View Point Golf club in Mesa, Ariz.

The group included 49 Aggies, and three guests from the University of Minnesota, Morris, the site of the former WCSA campus. UMM Chancellor Jacquie Johnson told the group about enrollment at UMM and how the college feels it is carrying on the traditions of the “Ag School.” Also speaking from UMM were Carla Riley and Maddy Maxeiner. WCSA Alumni Association president Ted Storck was the master-of-ceremonies.

WCSA opened in 1910 and graduated its last class in 1963. UMM began on the campus at Morris in 1960 and graduated its first class in 1964.
