UPDATED: Wadena nursing home CEO responds to death caused by wrong meds
Investigators from the Minnesota Department of Health concluded Fair Oaks Lodge neglected three residents by giving them the wrong medication or administered medication at the wrong time, leading to the death of one of them. A spokesman for the nursing home said a human error was made, medication disbursement procedures have been changed and the home’s changes recently resulted in high marks on an inspection.By Steve Schulz , March 10, 2010

Minnesota’s ice fishing shelter removal dates are fast approaching. Dark houses, fish houses and portables must be off the ice of inland waters no later than midnight on March 1 in the southern two-thirds of the state and March 15 in the northern third.
