Hancock Junior varsity girls finish season with 19-2 record
The Hancock girls basketball junior varsity team finished their season at Barnesville with a close win 31-28. The girls completed the 2010 season with a record of 19-2.

Girls defeat Barnesville in final regular season game 
In a battle of Section 6A No. 3 seeds, the Hancock Lady Owls defeated Barnesville 52-38 on Feb. 25 in Hancock’s final regular-season game.
The No. 3 from the north half of Section 6A, Barnesville, hosted the south’s No. 3 seeded Owls.

Hancock fifth and sixth grade girls take second place
The Hancock fifth and sixth grade girls took second place in a basketball tournament at KMS on Saturday. The girls included in front Alexis Steege. Second row - Brooke Jepma and Katelyn Jepma. In back - Kayla Crowell, Kassandra Algarate, Claire Hanson and Morgan Nelson. They were coached by Dennis Jepma. To finish second, the team defeated KMS and MACCRAY and then lost to NLS in the championship game.

Girls Basketball: Parkers Prairie sinks Hancock
Hancock had a lead late against Parkers Prairie, the No. 3 team in Class A, Saturday, but the Panthers made the most of their trips to the free-throw line to stop the Owls, 67-59.
