Groundbreaking for a new Evangelical Free Church in Morris was held July 16. These Evangelical Free Church members were on hand for the ceremonies: Glenn Englund, Gary Oleen, Darrell Smith, Jack Kiser, Rev. Robert Ellis, Charles Burmeister, Eldon Johnson, David Eliason and district superintendent Mervin Seashore. Located near the Villa of St. Francis, the new church will have a seating capacity of about 300 and is expected to be completed in two or three months.
