Dispatchers for Stevens County sit at one of two desks in the Stevens County Law Enforcement Center with nine screens showing the various systems they need to be familiar with to do their job effectively. These systems include the courthouse security system, dispatching system for communicating with officers, and 911 call information and logging. Seven people have been indicted on federal drug charges for possessing and distributing methamphetamine in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Charges are pending for two others.
