The theme for the 2016 Summer Field Day for the North Central Soil Conservation Research Laboratory in Morris is  "Soil and Water — We've Got It Covered." Tours out at Swan Lake Research Farm, pictured here during the 2015 field day, will begin promptly at 10 a.m.

The coronation for the Donnelly Threshing Bee royalty will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 on the Threshing Bee grounds.  
Candidates fir Little Miss Donnelly are Amaya Raths, daughter of Jaclyn and Scott Raths and Tabitha Van Horn,  daughter of Beth and Josh Kieffer and the late Curtis Van Horn.
Threshing Bee Queen candidates are Savannah Aanerud, daughter of Heather and Andy Aanerud and Cheyenne Baumgart, daughter of Jodi and Scott Arndt..
