Teachers in the Morris Area School District have consistently looked for new and interesting ways to teach students. When he was a science teacher at in the district, Ken Gagner brought space, seeds and chickens into his classroom at the old elementary school building.

Frank John Fox, superintendent of Morris Schools 1947–1956 wearing his signature bowtie ca. 1960. Fox is a respected and influential administrator whose many contributions are remembered and appreciated today. He died in 2005.
