Years ago, didn't they call eggs, "Nature's perfect food?" Then, all of sudden, they were bad for you, and now I think they're good for you again. So, I have some egg and cheese bake things that I've made quite a few times. Quiche Lorraine 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell 6 eggs 1 1/2 C. milk 1 T. dry onion 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard (not dry) 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 C. chopped ham or bacon 1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese Fry bacon to crisp and crumble or chop ham in cubes.
Max Martin and Adam Lesmeister carried the Morris Area High banner in the Section 6A golf tournament played on Tuesday, May 30, at Pebble Lake, Fergus Falls. Martin placed fifth which qualified him for the state meet.

Deryl W. Sternhagen, age 74, of Alexandria, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, at Douglas County Hospital. Funeral services for Deryl Sternhagen will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, at Living Waters Church in Alexandria. Visitation continues for one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Deryl is survived by his wife Angela of Alexandria, son Steve Sternhagen of Moundsview, sister Arlene Henrichs of Hoffman and sister-in-law Marlys Kniss of Barrett. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
Claire O. McBride, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, at her residence in Atria Buena Vista in Vista, California. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 13, at the Eldorado Church of God in Oceanside, California. Claire was born on September 8, 1913, in Vermillion, South Dakota, to Tollef and Helga Wolen Berger.
Raymond V. Wilson, age 82, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, at his home. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 10 a.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert Haverick officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the Nebraska National Guard. Memorials have been established to donors choice. Raymond was born in Morris, Minnesota, on Oct. 10, 1923, to Vernard Arthur and Marie Olivia (Aanerud) Wilson. He went to school in Morris.
Funeral services for Edward Mohrman of Alexandria, formerly of Morris, were held on Friday, June 2, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Morris. The Apostolic Christian Church ministers officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Edward Benjamin Mohrman, son of Gust and Louise (Messner) Mohrman, was born on January 30, 1924, in Lafayette, Minnesota. He grew up and received his schooling in the Morris and Gaylord areas. Following his schooling, he went to work on his Uncle Georges farm in Winthrop. On October 25, 1944, he was united in marriage to Darlene Christopherson.
Funeral services for Roy Lucken of Morris will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Morris. The Reverend David Fleischmann will be officiating. Visitation continues for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the Morris American Legion, VFW and AmVets. Roy Alfred Lucken, son of Ole and Mabel (Hoselton) Lucken, was born on March 12, 1913, in St. Thomas, Pembina County, North Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed as an adult on April 22, 1956, at St.
Lillian Cin passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 31, at Lakewood Health Systems Care Center in Staples. A private family service was held on Friday, June 2, at Summit Cemetery in Morris where she was buried next to her husband Dewey. Her family served as pallbearers. Lillian Mary Killian was born to Simon and Della (Welch) Killian on Dec. 14, 1915, in Philbrook, Minnesota. Lillian attended school in Crosby, Ironton, Staples and Philbrook. She moved to a farm north of Donnelly with her mother and stepfather at the age of 15. Lillian was married to Dewey Cin on Dec. 21, 1934.
Funeral services for Delores Greiner of Hancock were held on Friday, June 2, 2006, at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Father Alan Wielinski and Deacon Stan Hennen officiated. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Delores Josephine Rowles, daughter of Luke and Anna (Kill) Rowles, was born on July 11, 1922, in Hancock, where she grew up and attended school. On July 17, 1940, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Greiner in Morris. Following their marriage, the couple lived near Hancock where they farmed for several years.
