The funeral for Fayette Jipson, of Chokio will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, with Reverend Gloria J. Anderson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Chokio Lutheran Cemetery, near Chokio. Fayette Samuel Jipson, son of Harry and Ysabel (Swan) Jipson was born on May 30, 1916 at Moneta, Iowa. He attended Trimello School in Clay County Iowa before moving with his family to Chokio in 1935. Fayette was united in marriage to Mary Overturf on July 3, 1937 at Herman.
Funeral services for John Marlow, of Chokio will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Chokio. Celebrant for the funeral mass will be Father Peter Vanderweyst. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Chokio. John Stanley Marlow, son of Dennis and Marie (Dreis) Marlow Sr. was born on Jan. 22, 1935 at Hancock. He attended first grade in Hancock, before moving with his family to Chokio and graduating in 1953. He was united in marriage to Betty Whitmer on Jan.
Ellard D. Chamberlain Jr. age 81 of Clontarf, died Monday morning, April 11, 2011, at his home in Clontarf. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011, at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Clontarf, with Father Bill Sprigler officiating. Burial will be in St. Malachy Catholic Church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson, where there will be a Rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 5:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mary Adeline Jipson, of Chokio, was held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio, with Reverend Gloria J. Anderson officiating. Burial was at Chokio Lutheran Cemetery, near Chokio. Mary Adeline Overturf, daughter of Archie and Beth (Brewster) Overturf was born on May 13, 1919 at Wolfpoint, Mont. She grew up and attended school at Herman, and graduated from Howard Lake, while she tended to her Grandma Brewster, while her Grandpa Brewster was away. Mary was united in marriage to Fayette Jipson on July 3, 1937 in Herman.
Larson Funeral Home of Clinton announces the death of Gladys Loff, age 93 of Clinton. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton. Gladys Irene Loff, the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Pesheck) Thomson, was born July 19, 1917 in Wolverton. She was baptized at home and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge.
Michael Iverson, age 54, of Benson, died April 2 at his residence. Funeral services with Military Honors were held on April 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Montevideo, was in charge of funeral arrangements. Michael Steven Iverson was born on March 9, 1957, in Montevideo, the son of Clair and Lorraine (Young) Iverson. He was baptized on Nov. 17, 1957 at Watson Lutheran Church in Watson, MN and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 30, 1972 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo.

Roy was born on a farm in near Elbow on March 6, 1918, to Aamon "Bob" and Anna (Wiese) Johnson.

Funeral services for Judith Holl will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at First Lutheran Church in Kensington with the Rev. Kathryn Rothman officiating. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris. Herb Kill, son of William and Josephine (Majerus) Kill, was born Dec. 10, 1917 in Morris. He grew up on a farm north of Morris, and received his education in Morris.
