Memorial services for Clinton Muecke of Morris will be held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris. Reverend Neil Thielke will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris. Clint Muecke was born on Sept.
Richard Alan Grant, of Morris died on Aug. 9, 2011 at his home in Morris. He was 84 years old. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Funeral services for Darlene Awsumb of Donnelly, will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Father Robert Kieffer will be officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 PM with a rosary and prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Memorial services for Keith E. Lundquist, Sr., were held at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 18, 2011. He was born Nov. 21, 1940 at Hoffman and died in Mountain Home, Ark. on July 14, 2011 at the age of 70. Keith was a building and grounds inspector at the Morris Public School and lived in Cyrus until 1999.
Mavis J. Gulbrandson, age 78 of Hoffman, died on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011 at the Hoffman Good Samaritan Home in Hoffman. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Hoffman. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Hoffman and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesay.
Josh Perreault passed away July 23, 2011 due to a motorcycle accident. Funeral services for Josh were held July 28, 2011 at Oconomawac, Wis. Josh was the son of Larry and Lori Perreault, formerly of Morris and Alexandria. Josh is survived by his parents, grandparents Leo and Virginia Perreault of Morris and Dorothy Strand of Alexandria. Josh was born in Green Bay, Wis. on Dec. 16, 1982 to Larry and Lori (Strand) Perreault. He was the oldest brother of Kacey and Tory. Even though he was born in Green Bay he was an avid Vikings fan. They moved to Wales, Wis.
Larry Allen Evenson, 68 of Mesa, Ariz., died May 30, 2011 at his home with his wife Mary Ann, son Chad Evenson and sister-in-law Iva Lue by his side, after a short battle with cancer. The memorial service was held July 30 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Larry was born in Benson to Cora and Ben Evenson. He moved to Willmar in 1964 where he worked as an electrician; he also owned several businesses. His last business was A-1 Starter & Alternator, which he sold in 1998. He married Kathleen Diane Jones (daughter of Babe and Vera Jones) who died of cancer on Dec. 20, 1961.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 pm at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will be at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Swan Lake Township. Lillian Viola Amborn, daughter of Gustav and Sarah Amborn, was born December 3, 1924 at Greenbush, MN. On February 8, 1925, Lillian was baptized into the Lutheran faith in Greenbush.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Vinger Cemetery in Donnelly. Ruth Amalia Griffen, daughter of Charles and Meta (Greiman) Griffen, was born Dec.Hancock County, Garner, Iowa, where she was baptized on Jan. 20, 1920 at Eden Reformed Church.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris. Rachel Virginia Blakesley, daughter of Ralph and Edith (Wallace) Blakesley, was born March 12, 1929 in Willmar, Minn. Rachel lived in Maynard, before moving to Morris with her family.
