Wilma L. Matejka, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Alberta, Minn., died July 20 at the age of 76. A graveside memorial will be held July 31 at 10:30 a.m. at Summit Cemetery in Morris. National Cremation Society is handling arrangements. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Doris Kahl of Alberta; a brother, Clair; and a sister, Ruth, Mrs. Harley Peters. Survivors include her husband, Wayne, of Sarasota; daughter Wanda (Terry) Jackson of Sarasota; son Wesley (Cathy) of Sour Lake, Texas and six grandchildren.
Scott Brown, 41 of rural Long Prairie died on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Funeral services for Scott will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Browerville, burial will be at the Graceville Cemetery. Scott was born May 16,1969 in Browerville to Robert & Diane (Fletcher) Brown. Scott attended high school in Browerville, graduating in 1988. He then went to school at Ridgewater in Willmar for auto mechanics and graduated in 1990. In 1994, Scott opened Brown's Repair with his brother Jason and they worked together for three years.
Agnes Storck of Spring, Texas, formerly of Morris, passed away May 22, 2010 in Spring, Texas. Mass of Christian burial for Agnes Storck will be held Friday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church of Morris. Mrs.
Caroline Jennen, 94 of Fergus Falls passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Broen Memorial Home, Fergus Falls. Caroline Catherine Jennen was born Feb. 25, 1916 to John and Paulina (Gebauer) Obowa in Rib Lake, Wis. She grew up in Bismarck, N.D. and Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls High School in 1936. Caroline was confirmed at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls. She was united in marriage to Cyril Imholte in 1941. To this union one daughter, Marie, was born. The couple made their home in Fergus Falls where Caroline was employed at Montgomery Ward.
Funeral services for Bonnie Fennell of Morris will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris. Reverend Dell Sanderson will be officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:15 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Our Saviors Cemetery in Sacred Heart. Bonnie Gene Bradesen, daughter of Kent and Josie (Rogne) Bradesen, was born October 11, 1941 in Sacred Heart in Renville County, Minnesota, where she grew up on the family farm.
Longtime Anderson resident Sylvia Vivian Hughes, age 70, passed away June 23, 2010 at her home in Anderson, Alaska. Sylvia was born on October 31, 1939 in Morris to Clara Vivian and Leslie F. Bahr. After graduating Alberta High School in 1957 as class valedictorian she attended St. Cloud University where she received her Bachelor's in Education.
Maurine E. Perkins, 98, of Worthington, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Sunset Hospice Cottage, Worthington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Benson Funeral Home, Worthington. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Gordon Orde officiating. Survivors include four children: Jerry (Terese) Perkins of Worthington; Jim (Delores) Perkins of Morganton, GA.; Karen (Bill) Johnson of Bradenton, Fl.; and Dan (Cindy) Perkins of Alexandria, MN.

Funeral services for Ronnie Joy will be held Tuesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. at the Hosanna Worship Center in Morris. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris.
Funeral services for Ameila Grace Hughes will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Ortonville. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 5-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, all at the United Methodist Church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Pastor Darrell Boe will be officiating. Amelia Grace Hughes was born to parents Jake and Beki (Henslin) Hughes on June 22, 2010 at the Ortonville Hospital. She was 8 lbs, 6 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
Funeral services for Trayton David Judkins, infant son of Donald Jr. and Tonia Judkins, will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church of rural Morris. The Apostolic Christian Church Ministers will be officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
