Phillip "Pete" Mihm passed away peacefully on July 2, 2010, at age 79. Preceded in death by wife, Beatrice; parents, A.C. "Charlie" & Mary Mihm; siblings, Clara, Mary, George; brothers in law, Robert Stanley, Richard Hemish, Fremont Peterson, Darwin Carr, Daniel Marczak. Will be remembered by children, Martha (Keith) Baker, Peter (Donna) Mihm, Anne Mihm; grandchildren, Brian and Jack; siblings, Mathilda (Norbert) Phillips, Beverly Peterson, Martha Carr, Zita Marczak, Kathleen (Dennis) Schisler, John Mihm & many nieces, nephews, family & friends. Pete grew up on a farm near Ivanhoe.
Funeral services for Ray "Sparky" Sperr of Morris will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Herman. Reverend Jennifer Rose will be officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Herman. Raymond Albert "Sparky" Sperr, son of Herman and Lillian (Most) Sperr, was born June 11, 1921 in Prescott, Wis. Ray grew up in the Donnelly and Herman area, where he attended country school.

Lucille Pauline Doll, daughter of Theodore and Christine (Schmitz) Doll, was born July 26, 1916 in Dumont, Minnesota, where she grew up and began her schooling.

Funeral services for Lois Bell of Hancock was held Monday, June 28, 2010 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Hancock. Reverend Julius Miller officiated. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Lois Maxine Huntley, daughter of Max and Emma (Hultander) Huntley, was born Nov. 28, 1926 in Moore Township in Stevens County. She began attending School District #45 and graduated from Hancock High School in 1944. Following her graduation, Lois continued her education at Northwestern Hospital Nursing Cadet Corp where she received her RN degree.
Donna Lou Moen, age 79 of Monticello and formerly of St. Cloud, passed away at Sunrise Cottages in Buffalo on Friday June 25, 2010. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello. Donna was born on September 19, 1930 in Graceville to Walter and Elsie (Wallotz) Brunkow. She grew up on a farm near Chokio. She graduated from Chokio High School. She was married to Floyd Anderson and the couple had six children. Following Floyd's death, Donna was married to Mark Moen.
Memorial services for Elsie Mattson will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Beardsley, MN with Rev. Glen Schultz officiating. Burial will be at a later time. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church in Beardsley. Elsie Hermione (Graumann) Mattson, the daughter of Herman and Louise (Weber) Graumann was born September 4, 1915 south of Beardsley, MN on the family farm. She attended school in Beardsley through the eighth grade. She then stayed home and helped her father on the farm and her mother with her brothers and sisters.
Harry Elwood Westberg, 87, Hoffman, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, with his daughters at his side in the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis following complications of a vertebral fracture. Harry was born on the family farm in Land Township near Hoffman, Minnesota, on November 28, 1922, the son of Paul and Lydia (Johnson) Westberg. One of six children, he grew up on the farm where he learned the lessons of hard work, integrity, and perseverance which would serve him for the rest of his life. Harry was baptized and confirmed in Bethel Lutheran Church in Hoffman.
